First insert your arms into the shoulder straps. Then, pull the two ends together at the waist and begin fastening from the bottom to the top. Adjust the shoulder straps to your desired comfort level. Note: the cotton is supposed to be in touch with your skin, not the rubber. Also, the correct orientation of the product is with the hook and eyes on top of your belly.

I bought this specifically to help with the postpartum tummy flab/back fat and I LOVE IT. Better than Spanx.
If you're a little longer in the torso, or really want to conceal that 'bra back bulge' then you'll like this product. If you wear a lot of open-back clothing or don't want straps to show, then get the Squeem WAIST CINCHER (26C) instead. It's the same level of support, but without the higher back coverage (stops at bottom of the bra).
