St. Paddy's Day Dash and Bash Recap
Breakout Bras is committed to serving its community by supporting local charities. On Saturday, March 17th, several members of the Breakout Bras team participated in the annual St. Paddy’s Day Dash & Bash through Palmetto Children’s Charity. This year’s race benefited four local charities: Camp Spearhead, Let There Be Mom, GHS Children’s Hospital, and the Meyer Center for Special Children.
Our marketing team set up its tent the afternoon before the race and woke up bright and early to mingle with participants on their way to the starting line. Anita, one of Breakout Bras’ premier sports bra brands, sponsored the event, and a few of the store’s representatives gladly invited passerbys to take promotional items and register to win free giveaways, including a free sports bra and panty.
Meanwhile six staff members warmed up to run alongside hundreds of Greenville locals and competitive athletes. After the 5K, everyone enjoyed green beer, a silent auction, vendor booths, and a costume contest (Our own KT won third place.). All ages were encouraged to play a role in this event as children ran a shorter race around Fluor Field.
While the race might have ended on Saturday morning, Breakout Bras is still on a mission to support its beneficiaries; our store will be selling tickets for a discounted meal at Outback Steakhouse and will also be taking donations through the end of March.
If you'd like to support Breakout Bras' efforts to better its community, feel free to stop by our retail location and ask about our current promotions, and stay tuned to our social media platforms for updates on future sponsored events. Thanks to all the wonderful women who spoke to our booth attendants on Saturday! We're excited to see you again soon and get you fitted in your new favorite bras.
