This is an EXCELLENT post-op bra. If you've had reduction, augmentation, or mastectomy with reconstruction, and your doctor has told you to wear a 'sports style' bra for compression, then THIS IS the bra you need. It is a comfortable, breathable, but firm-holding material that contours and contains as it is supposed to post-surgery.
With these types of surgeries, many women go and get cheap little sports bras from department stores. This is NOT the type of control you need. Typically, the bottom band and the side coverage of those bras are too narrow, so they dig in or move around, and that can be painful against incisions under and across the bust.
Additionally, when your doctor says you need compression/sports styles (especially for reductions and augmentations), you need a firm and consistent pressure AGAINST the side of the breasts, under the arms, so that you don't end up with excess tissue as swelling reduces that stays under the arms (for reductions) and so you don't end up with broader-set breasts (for augmentations).

This bra is easy to open with a front zipper and underlying hook and eye fastener as well as shoulder straps to adjust for a perfect fit. This super soft bra is latex free and made from breathable material and has bilateral pockets for light breast forms. The wide shoulder straps give additional support and this post-op bra has four way stretch for additional compression and support.

Manufacturer Recommended Washing Instructions: Wash with similar colors and in a washing bag. Close hook and eye before washing. Use of chlorine bleach or chlorine based disinfection will decrease durability.
