Breakout Bras Return & Exchange Policy

Thank you for choosing Breakout Bras! We're dedicated to helping you find the perfect fit with our bras, swimsuits, and other intimate items. We know online shopping for intimates can be tricky, so we offer a generous 30-day policy for returns, or exchanges. Our goal is to make the process easy while maintaining hygiene standards and sustainability, where fewer unnecessary shipments mean less waste and better prices for everyone.

If you're within 50 miles of our Greenville, SC store (525 Haywood Rd., Greenville, SC 29607), we encourage in-person visits for fittings to ensure the right size and styles. For locals, in-store return rules apply, including a 15% restocking fee on returned orders over $250.

 

Quick Tips Before You Buy:

  • Check our detailed sizing guides, Melissa’s Comments, product descriptions, and customer reviews to assist you in choosing the size and styles that will work well for you.
  • Unsure what size to order? Schedule a virtual fitting via phone or email, or visit our store to help better nail down what you need.
  • For orders with multiple sizes/styles, our team may reach out to help refine your selection before shipping. Orders larger than $250 are subject to a 15% restocking fee if returned.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return or exchange, items must meet these hygiene and condition standards (we inspect all returns closely):

    • Returned within 30 days of receipt.
    • Unworn, unwashed, and in brand-new condition (no odors like perfume, body odor, or smoke; no deodorant marks, stains, or pet hair).
    • All original tags, packaging, and accessories must be intact.
    • Panties and items with a crotch area must be tried on over your own clean underwear.
    • Packaged properly to avoid damage (e.g., don't cram molded-cup bras into small envelopes—use a box if needed).

Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

Certain items can't be returned due to hygiene, nature, or sale status. The following list applies to both online and in-store purchases:

  • Adhesive bras (e.g., NuBra, Booby Tape, NOOD, nipple covers), panties, bodysuits, corsets/bustiers, babydoll/lingerie items, hosiery, breast pads/forms, bridal items, girdles.
  • Laundering products (e.g., Lasting Care Wash, Soak).
  • Mapale Sets from the "Sexier Lingerie Sets" section.
  • Fashion accessories such as bra extenders, shoulder pads, fashion tape, and the like.
  • Clearance, Final Sale, or promotional items marked as such.
  • In-store & Curbside Only: We strongly recommend trying on items before leaving the store (or at pickup) to confirm the correct size and style. We do not accept returns on items that were not tried on or that were purchased in a knowingly incorrect size or against the advice of your fitter. There are absolutely no returns on any of the above-listed items if purchased in-store or via curbside pickup. In addition, we do not allow returns on swimwear, shapewear, or strapless bras purchased in-store or via curbside pickup, as they can be tried on before purchase.

Use our easy Returns Portal (click here) to start. Enter your 5- or 6-digit order number from the subject line of your confirmation email (packing slip numbers may not work).

Shipping Options for U.S. Customers

1. Portal Shipping Label: Free for first exchanges. For refunds, the label cost is deducted from your refund.

2. Self-Shipping: Use your preferred method (we recommend trackable USPS Ground Advantage for affordability). No deductions from refunds.

Shipping for International Customers

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for international orders. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping method and submitting your return or exchange details through the Returns Portal.

Processing Time: Please allow 2–3 business days after receipt for returns and exchanges to be processed. Saturday and Sunday are not business days. We will send any updates regarding your refund or exchange via email.

Exchanges

Select your new item(s) in the portal. If you owe an additional balance, we'll email an invoice for you to pay. This invoice must be paid before the exchange can ship. If we owe you a credit for a price difference, that will be refunded to your original payment.

Refunds

Refunds will be credited to your original payment method, minus any applicable shipping label fees. Expedited shipping is non-refundable. Credits may take 2–5 extra days to post, depending on your bank or credit card company.

*Note on multiple exchanges, or the return of an exchange: Our #1 priority is assisting you in finding your perfect fit, so we gladly provide free shipping on your initial order (order minimums apply. See Shipping Policy HERE), as well as cover all shipping costs associated with your first exchange. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs when making additional exchanges or returning exchanged items for a refund. This allows us to operate sustainably while keeping our prices low. Late Returns (After 30 Days)

Email service@breakoutbras.com or call 1-864-627-0200 for authorization. We reserve the right to decline any requests on orders outside the 30-day policy time frame.
