Breakout Bras is a business founded by Melissa Thomason and her husband Jim back in June of 2000. The online website was launched out of a desire for Melissa to work from home with her newborn while trying to fill a gap in the market for nursing bras that fit all sizes. She spent the first few years doing it all on her own, but jump ahead two decades, and you’ll find that Breakout Bras is so much more than Melissa Thomason and what she dreamed of as a young business owner. Breakout Bras has grown into a global brand made up of a team of fiercely dedicated individuals who have banded together to help and educate women on the "Truth In Sizing". Gaining the trust and loyalty of our customers has been a true privilege, and we look forward to much more of the same in the decades to come.
