Extenders are great to use when you're breaking in a new bra. They help give you a little bit of room in the band without compromising the fit. Once your bra has stretched out with a week or so of wear, you can remove the extender. Extenders are also an excellent option for women who are in-between band sizes. If the smaller band feels too tight but the next size up is too big, an extender is the perfect solution. I always recommend hooking them on the tightest set of hooks. So that way, it gives you an extra inch in the band. Another use is for relief during times when you're more bloated than normal and your bra just starts feeling a little too tight. Extenders are not designed to be an exact fit for the width of every bra. So if there is some overhang or it's narrower than the band, that's ok. It's a one-size type of item.
