The Panache High Waist Swim Brief is a lovely piece with a very retro look and feel, but we've found that not everyone likes the length of the ruching on the back and front. It's almost skirted, but not quite long enough to be considered a skirt. That was an intentional design choice by Panache to appeal to people looking for something with more tummy and hip coverage but not wanting a full-skirted brief. They sewed the ruched layer down to the bottom to prevent it from floating up when you enter the water. This swim brief matches the Margot Bandeau Bikini Top, but you could also wear it with any solid black bikini top. This swim brief runs true to size.
