This high waist panty is really well designed. It's pretty but still functional and SO comfortable. The fabric is not clingy to other fabrics, so you can wear them with dress pants and skirts. Plus, the laser edge on the leg and hip area doesn't show even if you have fuller hips and/or rear. If you aren't as full in the rear, go down a size so that the fabric hugs well to your shape. This brief is GREAT for pear shapes, and for women who have that little tummy pooch that they want to smooth out, but don't necessarily want an actual hardcore shaping panty that smushes and has so much structure everywhere else that you can't move naturally in it. This is a panty you'll want to wear every day because they feel incredible and look good too.
